"We cannot see in darkness, and we cannot make light. We can make darkness and then think we see in it, but light reflects life, and is therefore an aspect of creation. Creation and darkness cannot coexist, but light and life must go together, being different aspects of creation. In order to see, we must recognize the light is within us, not without. We do not see outside ourselves, nor is the equipment for seeing outside off us. An essential part of that equipment is the light that makes seeing possible.
