"Light and joy and peace abide in us."

"Would we not be overjoyed to be assured that all the negative things that we thought we did were never done, that all the sins are nothing, that we are as pure and holy as we were created, and that light and joy and peace abide in us? It is neither bad nor good. It is unreal, and nothing more than that. Our sinlessness is guaranteed by the God. Nothing can touch it, or change what God created as eternal. The sellf we made, evil and full of sin, is meaningless.

We are as God created us, not what we made of ourselves. Creation is eternal and unalterable. 'Light and joy and peace abide in us. Our sinlessness is guaranteed by God.' So let us experience the unity of our one self. Appreciate Its holiness and Love from Which It was created. Do not interfere with the Self Which God created as us, by hiding Its majesty behind the tiny idols of evil and sinfulness we have made to replace It.

During the week devote at least a minute or more each day to closing our eyes and realizing that this is a statement of truth about us. Should we be tempted to become angry with someone, tell them silently: 'Light and joy and peace abide in you. Your sinlessness is guaranteed by God.' "Light and strength are one."

"Let us think of light in terms of strength, and darkness in terms of weakness. Because our idea of what seeing means is tired up with the body and its eyes and brain. Thus we believe that we can change what we see by putting bits of glass before our eyes. This is one of the magical beliefs that come from the conviction we are a body, and the body's eyes can see.

It is God's strength in us that is the light in which we see, as it is God's Mind with which we think. God's strength denies our weakness. Strength is the truth about us; weakness is an idol falsely worshipped and adored that strength may be dispelled, and darkness rule where God appointed that there should be light. "Miracles are seen in light"

"Miracles are always there. Its presence is not caused by our vision; its absence is not the result of our failure to see. It is only our awareness of miracles that is affected. We will see them in the light; we will not see them in the dark.

When we have felt the strength in us, which makes all miracles within our easy reach, we will have not DOUBT. The miracles our sense of weakness hides will leap into awareness as we feel the strength in us.

Each day this week three times per day, lets set aside ten minutes for quiet time in which we leave our weaknesses behind. In so doing, instruct ourselves that we are not a body. We can escape the body if we choose. We can experience the strength in us. As we tell ourselves: 'Miracles are seen in light. The body's eyes do not perceive the light. But I am not a body. What am I?'

What we think we are is a belief to get rid off. What we really are must be revealed to us. The belief we are a body must be corrected, being a mistake. The truth of what we are calls on the strength in us to bring to our awareness what the mistake conceals.

If we are not a body, what are we? Ask this in honesty, and then devote several minutes to allowing our mistaken thoughts about our attributes to be corrected, and their opposites to take their place. Say: 'I am not weak, but strong. I am not helpless, but powerful. I am not limited, but unlimited. I am not doubtful, but certain. I am not an illusion, but a reality. I cannot see in darkness, but in light.'

Remember that all sense of weakness is associated with the belief we are a body, a belief that is mistaken and deserves no faith. Relax during these practice periods, confident that our efforts, however meager, are fully supported by the strength of God and all of creation. It is from them that our strength will come. It is through their strong support that we will feel the strength in us. Every hour of every day, remind ourselves that miracles are seen in light. Say: 'Miracles are seen in light. "Sharing'

A wise old lady told the following story. "A Farmer sat at Easter dinner with his family of twelve children, his extended family of twenty plus he and his wife. For desert they had to share a 12" Apple pie. He cut the pie into 1/16's. However, no one was able to get an even 1/16th of the people who got pie due to spillage, and 18 people did not get any desert. Those who did not get any pie said that was not fair."
