"Salvation comes from our one self."

"The Adventures of Pinocchio was written by Carlo Collodi and published in 1883. It is about a wooden puppet, who wanted to be a boy and had an interesting quality: his nose grew longer with every lie he told. Wouldn't it be nice if that were true for everyone? Especially, our public leaders, church leaders, educators and television announcers/broadcasters and announcers of commercials, we can see their noses grow longer as they tell untruths to the populace. Imagine if people turned varying shades of green depending on the degree of untruthfulness they told.

Then we would not have to guess at the truthfulness of their statements. Unfortunately, today in this world full of deception, we cannot always tell when we are being told untruths. We do not know who or what to believe. So, we become distrustful of what we hear and see until we obtain the proof to convince us of what is true.
