"I AM THE HOLY SON OF GOD HIMSELF."

Here is my declaration of release from bondage of the world.  Here is the whole world released.  What have I done that this should be my world?  What have I done that this is what I see?  If I deny my own identity, this is what remains.  Chaos.  There is no sound that does not speak of frailty within and without; no breath I draw that does not seem to bring my nearer death; no hope I hold but will dissolve in tears.

Deny my own identity, and I will not escape the madness which induced this weird, unnatural and ghostly thought that mocks creation and that laughs at God.  Deny my own identity, and I assail the universe alone, without a friend, a tiny particle of dust against the legions of my enemies. Deny my own identity and look on evil, sin and death, and watch despair snatch from my fingers every scrap of hope, leaving me nothing but the wish to die.

What is it except a game I play in which identity can be denied?  I am as God created me.  In this one fact is sinlessness proclaimed to be forever part of everything, the central core of its existence and its guarantee of immortality.  Salvation is the gift God gives to everyone, in gratitude to Him Who pointed out the way to happiness that changed my whole perspective of the world.

One holy thought like this and I am free: I am the holy Son of God Himself.  And with this holy thought I learn as well that I have freed the world.  I have no need to use it cruelly.  I set it free of my imprisonment.  I tell myself:  "I am the holy Son of God Himself.  I cannot suffer, cannot be in pain; I cannot suffer loss, nor fail to do all that salvation asks."

In this thought is everything, I look on wholly changed.  Time has lost its hold upon the world.  The Son of God has come in glory to redeem the lost, to save the helpless, to give the world  the gift of forgiveness.  There is nothing I cannot do.  Let the Son of God return again to bless the world he made.  Glory is the light that saves the world.

The world must await my own release.  They stay in chains till I am free.  They cannot see the mercy of the world until I find it in myself.  They suffer pain until I have denied its hold on me.  They die until I accept my own eternal life.  I am the holy Son of God Himself.  Remember this, and all the world is free.  Remember this, and earth and Heaven are one.  www.dabreaufoundation.org; peakform.net; jean-lucdabreau.com.
